CSE index slips 260 pts in weekly trade

Calcutta Stock Exchange during the week finished in the negative zone after alternate bouts of rise and fall.

The CSE-40 declined 260.70 points over the previous close. In the previous week the market had gained 380.74 points.

The index opened at 6950.13 and on Tuesday it touched an intra-week high of 7015.02, before beginning a southward journey.

During the week it touch an intra-week low of 6806.89 and finally settled at 6689.43 points.

Trading volume during the week remained normal.

Blueprint Securities was at Rs 303.75, Bolton Properties was at Rs 390.60, BSR Finance & Construction was at Rs 174.50.

Prime Capital closed at Rs 278.80 and Shree Securities was at Rs 198.20.

Sharp Investment was at Rs 3.15, while Twenty First Century was at Rs 290.15 and Tycoon Trades & Investment at Rs 126.15. Vindus Holding was at Rs 293 at close.
