CSE falls 298 points in weekly trade

The Calcutta Stock Exchange stayed sluggish during the week, declining 298.81 points from the previous close.

The market in the previous week was down 260.70 points.

The index opened at 6,689.43 and till Tuesday the market remained weak, to recover on Wednesday touching an intra-week high of 6,427.92.

The market touched an intra-week low of 6,298.98 but finally ended at 6,390.62.

Trading volume during the week remained normal.

Blueprint Securities was at Rs 303.75, Bolton Properties was at Rs 390.60, BSR Finance & Construction was at Rs 174.50.

Prime Capital ended the week at Rs 278.80 and Shree Securities was at Rs 198.20.

Sharp Investment was at Rs 3.15, while Twenty First Century was at Rs 290.15 and Tycoon Trades & Investment at Rs 126.15. Vindus Holding was at Rs 293 at close.
