New Delhi: Crude palm oil futures prices moved up by 0.47 per cent on Thursday as speculators indulged in creating fresh positions influenced by firming global trend.

Crude oil for current December month contract gained by 0.47 per cent to Rs 323 per 10 kg in business volume of 608 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in November contract traded 0.37 per cent higher at 321.80 per 10 kg in 327 lots.

Market experts said fresh buying by speculators in tandem with firming global trend mainly pushed up crude palm oil prices in future trade.
