Court revokes conditional pardon of Kanda employee

A city court has dropped the proceedings to make former Haryana Minister Gopal Kanda’s employee Chanshivroop Singh an approver in the Geetika Sharma suicide case, after he failed to appear before court to record his statement as a witness.
The court of ACMM Devender Kumar Jangala had earlier passed an order granting “conditional pardon” to Singh on the condition that he shall make full and true disclosure of the circumstances related to the offence and the accused persons. “The proceedings of approver initiated on the application moved by the applicant/ accused Chanshivroop Singh, are dropped. The investigating officer is directed to proceed in the matter as per law.”
