Cottonseed oilcake futures prices decline

Cottonseed oilcake prices slid by Rs 17 to Rs 1,443 per quintal in futures trading today following fresh selling by traders in line with weak spot markets sentiment.
Marketmen said increased arrivals amid reduced offtake in spot markets mainly influenced trading sentiments here in futures trade.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oilcake for January delivery moved down by Rs 17, or 1.16 per cent, to Rs 1,443 per quintal, with an open interest of 89,970 lots.
For delivery in December, the prices eased by Rs 16, or 1.10 per cent, to Rs 1,437 per quintal, with an open interest of 68,920 lots.
