3 students held for kidnap attempt
Jalandhar: Three African students, who are studying at a private university in Jalandhar, were arrested on Wednesday for allegedly attempting to kidnap a young woman from Professor Colony near Ramamandi. The woman, who works with a private organisation, told the police that while she was returning home, four African students surrounded her, and one of them held her arm and asked her to sit in a gypsy. But the woman raised an alarm, following which people gathered and the accused were held.
