Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh: Around 32 employees of a Coca Cola bottling unit on the outskirts of the city, who had been stuck at Thailand following the emergency imposed at the airports there, are safe, company management said on Friday.
The team of staff and dealers belonging to several districts across the state, from the Sri Sarvaraya Sugars Ltd Bottling Unit in Vemagiri village of Kadiyam Mandalam had been to Bangkok on November 21 as part of an incentive scheme for highest sales, a management official said.
They are stuck at a Bangkok airport but are safe, the official said, adding that proper arrangements have been made to provide them with all necessary facilities there.
Thailand has been witnessing protests by anti-government agitators who have forced closure of two airports in Bangkok, stranding thousands of travellers and tourists.
