The Pune Municipal Corporation, Indian Heritage Cities Network Foundation, Embassy of France and UNESCO have joined hands to organise a seminar of economics and heritage conservation scheduled on December 10 and 11 in the city. The seminar will focus on increased relevance of the heritage conservation.

Book release anniversary review on Sunday

The Tej Gyan Foundation will hold a book review on the anniversary of the launch of the book, Vichar Niyam - The Great Law of Life. The event will be held at Nehru Memorial Hall from 1-4 pm on Sunday. Actor Mohan Agas will be present on the occasion.

Medical check-up to mark Sonia’s birthday

To mark Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s birthday, a medical check-up of chiefs of social and voluntary organisations has been organised at Poona Hospital on Saturday, said Congress MLC Mohan Joshi in a release. “If we take care of these people, they will continue to take care of the masses,” Joshi said.
