Red chilli and turmeric prices declined by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 6,300-11,800 and Rs 6,500-9,700 per quintal, respectively.

Marketmen said subdued demand from retailers and stockists amid sufficent stocks position mainly put pressure on chilli and turmeric prices.

The following are today's quotations:

Ajwain 10,000-15,000, black pepper (per kg) 425-560, betelnut (kg) 160-195, cardamom brown-Jhundiwali (kg) 830-930, and cardamom brown-Kanchicut (kg) 950-1,050.

Cardamom small (kg): Chitridar 750-880, cardamom (colour robin) 750-900, cardamom bold 750-850, cardamom extra (bold) 950-1,050 and cloves (kg) 630-710.
