Chandigarh golfer Jaskirath claims ladies’ title in BMW Golf Cup
“It feels good to win the title in the ladies category in the tournament. I was playing well and my putting was good. I am happy that I got a chance to play in the World Finals to be held in South Africa next year. The event is in March next year and I hope to do well in the tournament,” shared Matharoo. The event saw amateur golfers from nine cities across India competing in the stableford format and Matharoo emerged triumphant with 38 stableford ponts. Mukta Malhotra of Delhi claimed the second spot with 35 stableford points while Jayanthi Ravi of Bengaluru claimed the third spot with 34 stableford points. The city leg of the tournament was played in Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Gurgaon, New Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru and winners of the city legs competed in the finals.
