New Delhi, May 15 : down IIP in March were crude, petroleum refinery products, electricity and other sectors such as consumer durable goods.

For fiscal 2007-08 crude oil production grew by a mere 0.4% last fiscal from 5.6%, while growth in petroleum refinery production fell to 6.5% from 12.9% and coal production went up marginally to 6% from 5.9%. Growth of electricity and cement fell exactly a percent less from 7.3% and 9.1% respectively in 2006-07....
