The suspended CBI court judge, Talluri Pattabhirama Rao, was today arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for allegedly taking bribe to grant bail to former Karnataka Minister Gali Janardhan Reddy in the Obulapuram Mining Company case.

Pattabhirama Rao, who was earlier picked up from his residence here this morning and questioned by a team of ACB officials at their office, is the third person to be arrested in the cash-for-bail case, in which the agency has already arrested retired Judge P V Chalapathi Rao and Pattabhirama Rao's son T Ravi Chandra on Saturday last.

Confirming the arrest of the suspended judge, ACB Director General B Prasada Rao said, "He (Pattabhirama Rao) has been arrested and is being produced before a court for judicial remand."

The ACB had registered a case on June 9 against Pattabhirama Rao and seven others under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Prevention of Corruption Act in the cash-for-bail scandal.

The case was first cracked by CBI after Pattabhirama Rao, who was additional special judge for CBI court, granted bail to Janardhan Reddy while rejecting the bail plea of suspended IAS officer Y Srilakshmi in connection with OMC scam.

Amid allegations of illegal gratification and corruption against Pattabhirama Rao, the Andhra Pradesh High

SKonikkara | 19-Jun-2012Reply | Forward
There are plenty of ways of laws and orders in the Indian Judiciary to thrust that on the culprit, if it is too low, what for legislatives? works? to amend that to read more stringent to deterrent the ocurrent in future and would be an exemplary for future. There should be any ONE case for that to teach the Judges and those who are inspiring them to make a deal of CASH-FOR-BAIL. All such black money roaming and rolling and hoarding through such bribe and corruption of plenty of unaccounted crores are the significant cause of the recession and inflation of India. For all such activities; the Indian govt., is the accountability because they themselves protecting such cases not to prosecute. In case they have prosecuted, the govt., itself would have been trapped into the Indian court of law. So the govt.,and its businesses must be transparent and be timely published explicitly for the people, so long such things are not included and committed, it will be repeated. So,the laws must change.

Great. Now the CBI itself is under investigation. This proves the system has completely broken. People in power can do whatever they like. How many corrupt people will be caught and punished like this?. The whole system needs to be overhauled.

This is something which is a reverse happening of non-doing of an action together; being such Authorities always invariably are tools, on the hands of the party in Power to act as per its desire and will in order to make oneself foolproof from all vulnerabilities while amassing elicit wealth; stealing it from Common General Public.Since an action becomes a habit if done repeatedly;he possibly fell prey to it to earn easy Money without duly earning it without knowing what harm he did to the Country while doing so.That is why, we often object to setting-up of more such Agencies which action shall infuse, happening of more Corruptions within us than offering of a solution to it. Unless we know ourselves who we are and develop a LOVE towards the Country; there is no way we can stop the Devil from taking over us.
