New Delhi, Apr 11: for small farmers, post harvest management, agro and food processing and cold chain. Besides the nations would extend bilateral cooperation in the field of trade in agricultural products, dairying, animal husbandry, aquaculture and fisheries, sanitary and photo-sanitary issues, exchanging expertise in rural development programmes and upgrading rural infrastructure besides partnerships with public and private sector institutions, the minister said.
The government also gave its approval for signing of a an MoU between India and Mauritius that will enable both countries to conduct training programmes in old age care, drug abuse prevention and care of children in difficult circumstances.
Apart from another decision to join global efforts to protect and conserve Dugongs or Sea Cows, an endangered species found along the coastlines of Gujarat and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The Cabinet also gave its final nod for the Kolkata-Dhaka Maitree Express that will start its operations on April 14, the Bengali New Year's day, as the agreement between India and Bangladesh for running the passenger train services....

The Grade pay of Artificer 3/2/1 rank of indian navy is fixed to 3400 Rs in Sixth Pay commission is really a demoralising reccommandation of pay commission. It is understood that pay commission has not studied about the rank structure of defence. The Artificer 3/2/1 Rank is equivalent to Chief Petty Pfficer Rank of Y Group in Indian Navy. Before 5th pay commission the pay of Artificer 3/2/1 was more than the Chief petty Officer of Y Group.Even Compared to Civil Cadre, the juniour engineer scale 5000-8000 is graded as 4200 but Artificer 3/2/1 having scale 5120-7120 is graded as 3400 Rs. This means that Sixth Pay commission thinks that Artificer 3/2/1 is not a supervisory Staff. If it is like that then it will demoralise the all persons holding this rank.tne resposbility they are holding in which type of condition no body can think on the chair .highly dengerous at sea and very difficult in harbour to maintain operational capabality of different weapnos,sensors and machilnory .actually they are the beck bone of indian navy , but they are not getting pay atleast equal to junior engineer of any organisition even they are equal in qualification when selected and more so as a front line war ship warriour our pay should be more than our civil counter or at least equal to them if center govt. can not pay according to there capability than should not play with technical force of nation and start to recrute illitrete people.

AS THE PAY COMMISSION IS DECLARED IT IS BEST ONLY FOR OFFICER NOT FOR SAILOR. AS AN OFFICER MIN PAY IS 50000/- WHERE AS THE MIN SALARY OF AN SAILOR IS 10000/-. ON TOP THE PAY DIFFER BETWEEN X AND Y GROUP IS ALSO LIKE JOKE AS A Y GROUP SAILOR IS MATRIC ENTRY NOW IT IS 10 2 WHERE AS X GROUP IS ALSO SAME THEN WHY THERE IS DIFFERENCE IN GROUP PAY AS SAME RANK IN BOTH GROUP IS DIFFER OF MORE THEN 3000/- AND ON TOP X GR PEOPLE ARE GETTING TECH PAY OF 1400/- WHERE AS ONLY FEW 2-3 % ARE PRACTICLY WORKING IN TECHNICAL FIELD WHERE AS ALL JNR SAILOR,POS AND CPOS ARE ALSO WORKING MAXIMUM ON A/C OR SYSTEM THEN WHY THE ODD LOOK TO Y GROUP.I SUGGEST THE PAY COMMISSION SHOULD BE REVIEW FOR DEFENCE ESPECIALLY FOR Y GR AND FOR JNR AND POS RANK. MIN SALARY OF A RECRUIT TO BE AT LEAST 16-18 THOUSAND WHERE AS A PO SHOULD GET MIN 25000/ AND THERE AFTER 1000-1500 INCREASE ON RANK INCREASE WITH A SEALING OF 35000/ FOR SNR MOST SAILOR RANK WITH 34-36 YRS SERVICE

sir,As per the rank structure of Indian Navy Artificer 3/2/1 is equivalent to Chief Petty Officer Y-Group of Indian Navy. But in 6Th pay commission grade pay is not equal. for Chief Petty Officer (Y-Group)grade pay is Rs.4200 where as for Artificer 3/2/1 grade pay is olny Rs.3400. which is a demoralising factor for this rank.secondly:- MSP should be equal for all ranks, as all military persons are facing the same bullet and working environment.As MNS are serving in the hospital ( Peace Area) only then also they are recommended for Rs. 4200 as Grade pay.so ple look into the above matter seriously. My basic pay on 01.01.2006 was 4600 and scale was 3200-85-4900. In Oct.2006 after ACP, basic was 4800

the uniform 3%increment to all staff and officers is funny say an employee with PB 1 in 4860 1900 3% gets Rs 292 and an officer in PB 3( 39050 13000)=3%is 5 times where as the rate of inflation will affect more to lower grade employee again dear nedd allowance will bw more affetive to higher grade officers than of any benefirt to lower grade staff. why cant the modalities of PSU are not practiced where basic pay of the grades differ but not DA it shold be equal for all

first of all the military pay for all personel should be same since all are facing the same bullet. secondaly the pay, allowances and previlages of artificer 3/2/1 of indian navy is toatlly hamperred as comaprred to chief rank of indian navy and fifth pay commission also. eg. travelling in 3rd a/c against 2nd a/c by fifth pay commissiion and against chief rank of Y
