Lucknow: The medical university in Greater Noida will begin its academic session from 2013-14, Chief Secretary Jawed Usmani instructed officials on Thursday. Usmani ordered that the development of a post-graduate super-specialty children’s hospital and research centre at Noida should also be completed by April 30. He also asked officials to prepare a work plan and appoint a consultant for establishing a super-specialty hospital and trauma centre at Noida.
Priyanka to visit Rai Bareli today
Lucknow: Priyanka Gandhi will be on a one-day visit to Rae Bareli on Friday. She will interact with members of the District Congress Committee, apart from block presidents and other party members, party sources said.
70-yr-old woman found burnt
Lucknow: A 70-year-old woman was found burnt inside her room in Madiaon area. The incident took place on Wednesday night when Kamla Devi was sleeping in her first-floor room. Police said the family members informed that the fire could have been caused by the heater kept in her room.
