Lucknow, Nov 18 : The Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday warned that if terrorist activities were not checked it would lead to “another civil war”.
“The activities of the terrorists have registered a growth when BJP was not in power. And if these activities are not checked, then it will lead to another civil war”, BJP chief Rajnath Singh told a rally here.
He accused the Centre of trying to link terror with religion and alleged that by doing so it was trying to divert the attention of the people from its failure to tackle terrorism.
“BJP has never tried to link terrorism with any religion.
It is Congress which as been doing so by coining terms like 'Muslim terrorism' and 'Hindu terrorism', he said.
Singh claimed BJP has never been involved in caste-based politics and reiterated that terror should not be linked to any particular religion.
