Expressed concern over the high level of pollution of Yamuna river, he said, “The Congress government has closed its eyes and ears to the problem. No treatment plant has been established in the last 10 years neither the polluted sewage waters are prevented from flowing into the Yamuna river”.

He also charged that the preparations for the 2010 Commonwealth Games are not adequate and expressed concern at its timely completion. “Once assumed to power, the BJP will work in full gear to boost the city’s infrastructure to give it a face-lift,” he said.
