New Delhi, Oct 5: BJP chief ministerial candidate Vijay Kumar Malhotra today said he will adopt “Gujarat model of development” if his party wins the upcoming Delhi assembly elections.

“We will adopt the Gujarat model of development in the state if our party is voted to power,” Malhotra said in his first exposure with the media after being nominated as chief ministerial candidate of the party.

He termed the Congress government’s efforts in this regard as a “political drama” aimed at heavy votebank. Sonia Gandhi had on Saturdayhanded over certificates to 11 resident welfare associations for authorisation of regularised colonies in a rally.

“It is a political drama in which Sonia Gandhi was also involved,” Malhotra said, adding that the BJP will bring in a chargesheet against “the 10 years...
