New Delhi: The BJP bought peace with the party rebels in Karnataka demanding the removal of B S Yeddyurappa who will continue as chief minister while a coordination committee will oversee its affairs in the state.

A compromise between the warring sides to break the two-week-long stalemate is understood to have been hammered out under which a woman minister may be removed and the Speaker inducted into the Cabinet.

Announcing the "amicable" settlement as a birthday gift to senior BJP leader L K Advani, who turned 83 today, party leader Sushma Swaraj said in the presence of Yeddyurappa and dissident leader G Janardhana Reddy that there are no more 'misunderstandings'.

Swaraj is tipped to head the seven-member Committee that will include the chief minister, senior leader Anant Kumar, state unit president Sadananda Gowda and G Karunakara Reddy, brother of Janardhana Reddy.

These reddy groups in AP and Karnataka are creating the hell at the time of the floods. this seems that they are concerned about only money and nothing else. The people of Karnataka and AP should reject these people whenever they get opportunity.

Reddys as a caste and congress party as a whole share the same psyche. They lust for absolute power and lust for absolute money - at the expense of everything else. That is why they gang together in AP to elect any congress leader and in return this tells why YSR and Jagan Mohan had their way with everything - including a loot of 78,000 crores from the state's treasury! These rabid Reddy's have bared their fangs to Yeddy - who was doing a yeoman service and has proved to be one who actually cared about the people. It is shocking that Sushma did not rein in the Redddys. I konw this as I'm from AP.

QUOTE: "The Rajasthan Police have initiated a probe into the theft of eight Iranian carpets from the Khasa Kothi hotel in Jaipur, reportedly worth crores,....." IE. UNQUOTE: Procurement for an opportunity for pilfering and theft for himself as well as his aides and rivals. Not a blot for BJP but all the Parties concerned.

We have been observing that political drama in karnataka since 15 days. All people involved in this political drama are connected to RSS organisation one way are the other. They claim sometime thay have learnt politics from mother organisation that is RSS . Is it this lesson they have been taught at their shakas because it is realy enough for the people of karnataka from the BJP government. Now either they should rule properly or get out of the govt.

This only shows that how the minds of these elected politicians work? their priorities are their greed, shameless power control by threats and buying, a leader who gain the power by honesty, heart, mind of the people will never have to worry about any threat. Gandhiji won everyone's heart because he was honest, powered by his selflessness. Now a days almost every leader wants to bring their own family members into power i.e. example Reddy brithers, Gowda and his family, Yeddy and his sons, Bangarappa and his family,Sonia Gandhi and her children. Indian people at some point get nauseated with this. Politicians do not need any qualifications but we the people should be well qualified and learned to disqualify such personalities. Kings automatically used to hand ower the thrown to their children, we still follow the same, some how people should learn to get best people in the politics. probably we need grass root leaders in every corner of our villages and towns to work.

One wonders if Congress is implanting these so-called "rebels' to creat havok in BJP. It is reported that many MLAs have gone with Reddys, remember, Congress had also bought BJP MPs for nuclear votes. BJP must be very carefull about choosing their candidates, many Indians will sell their soul for money. It would have been better to expell these 'rebels' rather than accommodating them. Now there is no difference between Congress and BJP.

Reddy Brothers, perhaps the most corrupt business tycoons in Karnataka, virtually dictate terms to BJP leadership both at the State and at the Center. Of the 3 Reddy brothers, who are originally form Andhra Pradesh, the first 2 of them are Cabinet Ministers, the 3rd one is an MLA. These 3 folks at the same time run huge business in KN. They hijacked 60 MLAs to Hyderabad. I haven't heard any equivalent in Cong. Has BJP become corrupt, incompetent, with disoriented leaders?

b.s.yadurappa chief minister of karnatka has cried and see how a chief minister is helpless. due to valliant efforts of yadurappa now BJP is running its first government in south india . so people of karnatka should remember next time whenever assembly elections takes place such MLA's should not be elected who is rebel or not loyal to party. if BJP core committee will take decision and matter will be resolved then these unbeliebale MLA can raise further more demand and always try to create hurdle to work smoothly then Chief minister of Karnatka will be in sup and all devlopments programmes and prosperous state will be weak and to run the government will be very difficult. so people of karnatka will be very carefull before casting their votes thanks-regards Sunita Anil Reja Andheri-mumbai-93

Yeddy might have bought peace but where do the people of Karnataka stand? In the same rotten rut that has been there. Corruption is rampant, there is filth and garbage all over, there is poor sanitation, roads can hardly be called roads, there is a lack of discipline and cleanliness and hygiene, traffic is chaotic, power and water supply are erratic builing by-laws are violated braenly etc etc.
