BDA asked to file fresh affidavit in allotment of "G"cat sites
The division bench comprising Justice D V Shylendra Kumar and Justice B Manohar gave the said direction while hearing a contempt petition filed advocate S Vasudeva against the Chief Secretary, Secretary Urban Development and BDA Chairman for alleged non-compliance of the court's August 25 last order.
It also directed the BDA to furnish all records pertaining to the allotments and adjourned the matter to Jan 9.
Earlier, the petitioner S Vasudeva took serious exception to para 8 in the affidavit filed by the BDA today in which it stated BDA had kept ready the copies of the applications and related documents pertaining to the said allotment and the same will be produced during the proceedings or as and when the same is called upon to be produced by the committee.
Vasudeva pointed out that when there was an order by the division bench in this regard to place all the applications submitted by each of the respondents before the court, this affidavit was "nothing but non compliance of the court order".
