Mercer's Quality of Living index list covers 221 cities, ranked against New York as the base city.

"In order for multinational companies to ensure their expatriates are compensated appropriately and an adequate hardship allowance is included in compensation packages, they must be aware of current events and local circumstances," Mercer Senior Researcher Slagin Parakatil said.

"Factors such as internal stability, law enforcement effectiveness, crime levels and medical facilities are important to consider when deciding on an international

assignment, and the impact on daily life that could be encountered by the expatriate in overseas placements," Parakatil added.

It is Bangalore which is becomming over Crowed. But still the Real Estate can use this news the Bangalore is the Best Indian City to leave But Without Water, Water Harwesting and Sanitary things. Every Political person has a Real Estate Business without fear of Administration. Kannadigas are less in Bangalore. Total real Estate is screwed by Builder loby and Redgistar of Govt offices. Bribe is the only Mantra to get the work done. Still Bangalore is good to stay But in Jaya Nagar

I think Mercer forgot to note that there are no roads anymore. Just Pot holes. We will soon be paying Pot hole tax instead of road tax when buying new vehicles.
