



Mumbai: Sena supremo Bal Thackeray, admitted to a suburban hospital, underwent an Angioplasty and is doing fine, doctors attending on him said.
"Bal Thackeray underwent Angiography followed by Angioplasty and the procedure is completed and is doing fine," informed the doctors.
He may be discharged in two-three days, they said. The 83-year-old Sena chief was admitted to Lilavati hospital in suburban Bandra yesterday for a "routine check-up".
His son and Sena Executive president Uddhav Thackeray, after arriving from the US last night, rushed to the hospital after which the decision on further treatment of Thackeray was taken, Sena sources said.
Thackeray has been ailing for the last few years and has left day-to-day functioning of the Sena to Uddhav. Thackeray's nephew and MNS chief Raj Thackeray visited the hospital yesterday to inquire about his uncle's health.
