Hoshiarpur, Oct 5 :

Addressing the inaugural function of a new Punjabi daily new Punjabi daily ‘Desh Videsh Times’ in Ludhiana ,he said media was like a light house meant to guide the destiny of a true democracy in right direction.

“Journalists must give top priority to issues of national interest” and said that media should not provide any publicity to elements which disturb peace and harmony.
