Mumbai, April 24: : Drug-maker Aventis Pharma Ltd will be launching three new drugs in 2008, its chairman Vijay Mallya told shareholders at a meeting on Thursday.

The company, which exports Paracetamol to the United Kingdom, plans to also sell the drug to Australia this year, he said.

With respect to its top-selling Rabies vaccine, he said, "we believe we are in an extremely strong position. We are not worried about the future of Rabipur."

Aventis has been involved in legal wrangles with Chiron Behring Vaccines Pvt Ltd over rights to sell Rabipur in India and Nepal.
