Audi launches sports car R8 at Rs 1.32 cr
The car is priced at Rs 1,32,49,000.
Propelled by a powerful V10 quattro engine, and built using the lightweight Audi Space Frame (ASF) design, it has a top speed of 316 km/h.
"The Audi R8 exemplifies our belief in developing world class automobiles for sports car enthusiasts in India. Every Audi R8 is hand-built and demonstrates paramount engineering excellence that is blended with distinct design cues which will enable us to establish new benchmarks in the performance sports car segment," said Audi India head Michael Perschke.
He said the company is focused on strengthening dealer network and is opening of showrooms in Delhi and Ludhiana.
Last year, it opened showrooms in Mumbai, Kolkata, Jaipur and Bengaluru, he added.
The company offers a range of car models in the Indian market through its sales outlets in different parts of the country.
