London: reported a 29% growth in net income at $3.8 billion for the third quarter of 2008 compared with net income of $3 billion in the September quarter of 2007. Its sales for the third quarter ended September 30 increased by 38% to $35.2 billion from $25.5 billion in the same period a year ago.
