worked with him in so many films. I got chance to be with him...interviewed him on his last birthday. He looked at the inner beauty of women and presented them in a beautiful way," SRK said.
Shah Rukh, who had teamed up with Chopra in his last four films 'Darr', 'Dil To Pagal Hai', 'Veer-Zara' and 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan', had interviewed the director last year on his 80th birthday.
Yash Chopra's wife Pamela Chopra had planned to celebrate her late husband's birth anniversary in a unique manner. She organised a fashion show to showcase India's first cinema inspired ethnic couture brand Diva'ni.
"I am delighted and pleased that all the wonderful divas, friends and family joined me in celebrating my husband's birth anniversary together this evening. Today's special commemoration is most befitting and I couldn't have asked for anything more," Pamela said.
The veteran filmmaker died last year on October 21.
The fashion show primarily consisted of Indian wear - choli, lehenga, sharara, laacha, sari, salwar suit and long gowns.
The nine heroines wore the collection designed by Parinita Saluja and Anjali Dongre.
