Alia Bhatt opposite Ranbir in Imtiaz’s film?

If things fall into place, Alia Bhatt could land up a role opposite Ranbir Kapoor in the Imtiaz Ali directed film, which has Kapoor as the leading man. Mahesh Bhatt’s vivacious daughter is being considered to star opposite Kapoor in Ali’s project. Alia who has already made a place for herself in the industry, having made her debut in Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year, is on the wish list of directors who want to cast a fresh face in their projects and this film could be one of them. For Ranbir, it will be be working with another upcoming actress, after Nargis Fakhri in Rockstar, Sharda Pallavi in Abhinav Kashyap’s Besharam for which he is presently shooting.
