Musicians in zombie land
Those present at the music launch of Luke Kenny’s Rise Of The Zombie (ROTZ) were left spellbound with the live music. An independent music initiative, the rights of the songs in ROTZ are with the singers and composers. A first of its kind, it could spearhead a movement where composers will hold the publishing rights of their songs in the film industry. Musicians Arafaaz and Anurag opened up the event with a live performance of a song composed by Ankur Tiwari; singer Caralisa Monterio followed it up with her popular track Phir dekhiye (in Rock On) and a composition Alone from ROTZ. The event also featured performances which featured performances by singers Aditi Singh Sharma and Suraj Jaggan (of 3 Idiots fame) and introduced Boomerang, a rock band from North East.
