Akshay Kumar highest tax payer, beats Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan
Akshay Kumar may be having to fight really hard against Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan in Bollywood, vying for top honours, but away from the film battlefield, Akshay has beaten all three of them in terms of tax returns.
Akshay who has been on a professional high, with back-to-back hits like Housefull 2, Rowdy Rathore, OMG: Oh My God! and Special 26 has achieved another feat by becoming Bollywood's highest advance income tax payer for the sixth consecutive year.
In fact Akshay Kumar has apparently paid Rs. 18 crore this year as compared to his Rs. 20 crore shell out in 2012, followed by Salman Khan in the second spot at Rs. 11 crore, Shah Rukh Khan at third shelling out Rs. 10.5 crore while Aamir Khan is believed to have paid Rs. 8 crore.
On the other hand, among actresses, Katrina Kaif has apparently paid the highest income tax at Rs. 4.5 crore, beating her rival Kareena Kapoor by a narrow margin who paid Rs. 4 crore, while Priyanka Chopra trailed behind with Rs. 2 crore.
