Bharti Airtel, India's leading telecom services provider, has introduced Super Lifetime Prepaid with a local outgoing tariff of Re 1 for life.

Sanjay Kapoor, president of mobile services, Bharti Airtel, said the offer would further open up new segments of the market where young people and people from rural areas would be more interested to have mobile connections.

"The new Super Lifetime Prepaid further marks our strategic intent of making mobile telephony more affordable among the masses," said Kapoor.

According to him, in a market which is cluttered with multiple tariff options, Airtel is offering the simplest plan ever in this industry. The plan offers an Airtel user a local outgoing tariff of Re 1 for life.

Under this plan, a customer can stay mobile by paying just Rs 999. They have to use a minimum of Rs 200 every 180 days to continue enjoying lifetime validity benefits.
