National carrier Air India on Friday signed a code-share agreement with Hong Kong Airlines which will allow the South East Asian airline to place its code on direct flights operated by Air India between Hong Kong and three cities including Delhi (DEL), Osaka (KIX) and Seoul (ICN) respectively. It will come to effect from June 10 for Delhi-Hong Kong route and July 4 for Hong Kong- Osaka and Hong Kong – Seoul routes.

Passengers from Hong Kong will now have “access to daily flights between Hong Kong and Delhi, a three times weekly flight between Hong Kong and Osaka, as well as a four times weekly flight between Hong Kong and Seoul, all to be served by Air India’s B787 Dreamliner,” said an Air India release.
