Chandigarh: The Rajiv Gandhi state- level renewable energy park, Gurgaon will be run by Advit Foundation, Gurgaon.

A contract to this effect was signed by the Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency and Advit Foundation in the presence of Sumita Misra, director-renewable energy depament. Sumita Misra on Thursday said a state-level Rajiv Gandhi renewable energy park had been set up by the department of renewable energy, Haryana & Hareda at a cost of Rs 2.5 crore at the City Centre, Sector-29, Gurgaon to create awareness among the masses about the new technologies developed in the area of renewable energy, demonstrate the working of these technologies through working models & educate students regarding application of various renewable energy sources, energy conservation technologies and their socio-environmental benefits.
