Admn promoting inequality among faculty: Petitioners
Earlier, during the hearing, counsel for the five doctors who have filed the application challenging the procedure adopted by the UT Administration to shortlist the names of the candidates for the coveted post, submitted a rejoinder to the reply filed by the respondents, stating that the UT Administration and UPSC have allowed back door entrants by giving a complete go-by to all canons of law thus promoting inequality among the faculty of GMCH-32.
Also, the rejoinder filed by Advocate Harmanjit Singh Sethi on behalf of Dr Atul Sachdev and others stated that one of the respondents whose application was entertained has not got clearance from the Vigilance Department and this fact was also pointed out by the UPSC and was communicated to the UT Administration about the inquiries pending against this doctor.
The rejoinder further states that the UT Administration did nothing in this regard and this speaks volumes of the application of mind by the UT Administration and UPSC because despite the non-clearance, the said doctor has been called by the UPSC for a personal talk/ interview.
