Two persons duped a Delhi man of Rs 18.2 lakh by promising an MBBS seat in a medical college in Katraj. Himendra Kohli (52) of Kirti Nagar, New Delhi, has lodged a complaint at Bharti Vidyapeeth police station.

Police have booked suspects Yogesh and Rajesh under IPC sections 406, 420 and 34.

Assistant inspector S B Chavan said, “Kohli came in contact with Yogesh and Rajesh about 12 days ago. They promised his son admission in an MBBS course at a medical college in Katraj, saying they were agents. Kohli came to Pune and paid Rs 18.2 lakh to Yogesh and Rajesh, who went missing soon after.”
