Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital, has partnered with Pune Warriors India as the official healthcare provider for all their home matches at the Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium, including practice matches.
In a release issued here, Rekha Dubey, COO, Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital, said cricket is a strenuous sport with the players often sustaining injuries and muscle sprain during practice sessions and matches. Also, the tight schedule of the team leads to fatigue and injuries.
Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital will offer round-the-clock first-aid and healthcare support to the Pune Warriors India team to ensure that they are in a fit condition at every games.
Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital will also offer medical assistance to other players and spectators, who are injured during the match or feel sick because of the heat.
Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital’s team headed by Dr Ashish Pathak, including 35 Paramedics, 5 Medical supervisors, 2 Sports Medicine Doctors will be at the field to attend to the injuries of the players and spectators. Two fully equipped Cardiac ambulances and three Non Cardiac ambulances will always be present during the match days to rush any emergency case to the hospital.
