



Ahmedabad, October 7:: An agreement has been signed between Tata Motors and Gujarat government on Tuesday evening for setting up of the Nano project in Sanand, a state government official said.
Tata Motors signed the Memorandum of Understanding with Gujarat government for the Nano project.
The project will be set up in Sanand, 30 kms from the city, on the land of Anand Agriculture University (AAU). The AAU had 2,220 acres of land at the site, which has been transferred to the state government.
Out of that land 1,000 acres of the land would be given to the Tata Motors, officials said.
The Tatas after exiting from Singur had explored many destinations in different states and has finally chosen Sanand.
