Chandigarh , Apr 19: Spice Telecom, one of the cellular service provider of Punjab, has bagged the title sponsorship in a multi-crore deal for the Kings XI Team Mohali for the DLF IPL league. Mohali team will henceforth be called ‘Spice Kings XI Team’.
The sponsorship bouquet for Spice will include intellectual property right of association with the team, player uniform branding, stadium signage, on-ground sponsorship activations & promotions, player interaction and post tournament initiatives. Sompany officials are aiming to leverage both the brands in reinforcing their status in the North. Vivek Bali, group president, global branding & marketing of Spice told FE, “A lot of innovation is driving cricket these days and by getting associated with the young Mohali team, we want to deepen our cricket presence.“
