Savli Industrial Estate (SIE) at Vadodara district in Central Gujarat is all set to attract investments of Rs 469 crore as a number of projects of various leading companies are at different stages of implementation. Companies like EI Dupont, Mahindra Intrared, Thermax, Incowax, GPT Pipe Industries are in the process of setting up their projects at the industrial estate.
Speaking to FE, sources in Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) informed that EI Dupont has already kicked off production at its unit located in Savli Industrial Estate, while Thermax’s project is under construction and Mahindra Infrared has recently taken possession of the land.
In addition to this, GPT Pipe Industries has started implementing its project at SIE. “All these projects will bring an investment of Rs 469 crore to the industrial estate,” said sources, adding, “EI Dupont has undertaken herbicide mixture project involving an investment of Rs 155 crore. Sebic Research Technology is investing Rs 3.80 crore for petrochemicals and Inco Wax is implementing pest ink project with an investment of Rs 9.96 crore.
Mahindra Intrared is setting up a Rs 30 crore steel service centre, while BT Composite will invest Rs 31.80 crore for manufacturing fibre glass reinforced plastics. Thermax is coming up with engineering project at Savli Industrial Estate.
Apart from these companies, GPT Pipe Industries has undertaken MS formulations project, for which the company plans to infuse Rs 86.25 crore.
