SBI contributes Rs 1 cr to CM's Relief Fund

State Bank of India (SBI) contributed a sum of Rupees One crore to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's Calamity Relief Fund (CRF) for providing relief to the flood-hit people in the state.

A SBI delegation led by its Chief General Manager (Bihar circle) D K Jain handed over the cheque to Kumar at latter's official residence this morning, an official spokesman said.

Around 2.20 crore people have been affected by floods in 21 districts in Bihar.
