Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee said members of agitating group will meet the Governor on Sunday to press shifting of Tata Motors' ancillary units close to the Nano project site to end the deadlock in Singur.

"There is a one line solution. Everything will be settled if the ancillary units are relocated to the land on the opposite side of the small car unit," Banerjee said from her dharna platform, a day after Governor Gopalkrishna Gandhi sent a her letter asking her to call the eight-day long stir.

Sticking to her demand that 400 acres of the land acquired for the small car project be returned to the "unwilling farmers", she said the plant could come up on 600 acres site.

"In that case both industry and agriculture will smile," she said.

A delegation of the Krishijami Jiban-o-Jibika Rokha Committee, which is spearheading the movement for return of the land, would inform the Governor of the decision today.

"We sought time from the Governor at 3 PM," Banerjee said.

Relocating anything is not feasible. Returning acquired land is not permitted by law.Dead-lock created by Mamata at Singur goes against the state, not against the stateGovt. Gimmicks .. stunts .. false-hood is "her" style. She was never the friend of farmers .. !! She is out as a 'spoiler' to attract negatve votes of rural Bengal. The state advanced so far in agriculture making huge consumer market in villages .. want to leap forward for Industries ( all without her help ) .. and now she is blocking all good things to come up. But don't believe her .. it is the pressure of the locals in Singur.. she is appearing to be flexible on 8th day. But .. observe her utterings carefully .. she may not be 'banked upon'. Yet .. peace is peace .. let all try .. !!
