Rajasthan boosts pulses production
Pulses production in the country is likely to hit a record high of over 18 million tonne largely due to high output in Rajasthan. The desert state has registered the highest pulses production of 32.32 lakh tonne in year 2010-11, which is almost two-and-a-half times more than average production in the last five years.
