Chandigarh: The irrigation department in Punjab has announced the rotational irrigation scheme for the rabi season through canal water from December 1-6. The channels of Sirhind Canal system will run on priority basis from Bist Doab Canal, Sidhwan Branch, Bhatinda Branch, Patiala feeder and Abohar Branch. The Direct distributaries of Bhakra Main Line, in group ‘A’ being the first preference will run to their indent.
