Ambala, Jul 7: To control violent agitators demonstrating against load shedding, police fired in the air, near Kala Ambala in Haryana. The police took the step after some demonstrators threw burning tyres at a police post. A part of the building and some wooden furnitures were partially damaged in the fire. Three police personnels including the head constable sustained minor injuries.
The trouble started when a crowd of around 150 people gathered at the electricity complaint office and started protesting there, police said. Even as the police were trying to disperse the agitators,some demonstrators started pelting stones on the police post. while, one of the agitator threw a burning tyre at the police post which worsen the situation.
