New Delhi, Oct 14: Even as Pakistan denied any role of ISI in the July bombings of the Indian embassy in Kabul, India on Tuesday again conveyed its concerns on cross-border terrorism and ceasefire violations to its neighbour.
Talking to mediapersons after his talks with the external affairs minister Pranab Mukherjee, the visiting national security adviser Mahmud Ali Durrani said that he had very good discussions with the minister.
‘‘No. No. No. Incorrect,’’ Durrani said when asked to comment on reports alleging that the ISI masterminded the Kabul blasts.
The Kabul bombings will be discussed in detail at the meeting of the joint anti-terror mechanism later this month.
Durrani later called on PM Manmohan Singh who stressed on the need for an atmosphere free from violence for the success of the dialogue between the two countries.
He also reminded Durrani of Pakistan’s January 2004 pledge not to allow Pakistan’s territory to be used for terror activities against India. The PM also expressed concern over a sharp spike in cross-border infiltration and ceasefire violations, an official source said.
