Meet the Boss, the first private community of senior finance executives globally, is a dream Rolodex featuring CIOs, CEOs and other senior executives from ABN Amro, Barclays, Goldman Sachs, Visa and many more. Spencer Green, Founder and CEO of Meet the Boss.com tells Expressindia, in a telephonic talk, how this community is championed as a key tool to bring the world out of financial crisis.
Spencer Speaks:
Headquartered in Bristol, England and New York, USA, Meet the Boss is the first private community of senior financial executives, internationally. We have every major international finance institution, joining us. We have 20,000 members and the next 30,000 will be through application. The maximum membership will be limited to 50,000 members. We are not letting in management or consultant organisations within meet the boss. It is only for the finance executives.
There is no monetary gain from Meet the Boss. It has been championed as a key tool to bring the world out of this financial crisis. Meet the boss is the subsidiary of the GDS international. It is only for finance executives and we have every major finance institution signed up. Through video conferencing, through e-mail texting it will be the largest most effective solo desk for financial executives in the world
Why have we limited our total membership is because, in our research, we are comfortable, that there are only about 50, 000 finance executives, that we want. In our research we have found that there are approximately 50,000 C level finance executives around the world and this community will not entertain junior members. This community is strictly for C-level senior executives.
We are both based in Bristol, England and New York, but we have the membership from all over the globe such as Asia, South America, Middle East, America and Europe. Infact, we already have a totally global site.
We have at the moment we have many many applicants from India. Almost seventy-five percent of the applicants are rejected. India and China are very important markets in the world. There are lessons learnt from the credit crunch of the times. This is the biggest challenge before us, that in this financial climate we all need to communicate.
This site truly will provide an environment for technologists to discuss implementation, strategy, and common challenges. We are seeing that this platform is exactly what the industry has been crying out for.
What is so exciting is we can...
