Mumbai, Apr 1: In a bid to strengthen its media and content business, the Mudra Group has created a new line of business called ‘Mudra MAX’ under which it has launched two independent agencies: Mudra Connext and Mudra Radar. Incidentally, Mudra Radar has been formed as a dedicated media agency partner for Mudra’s principal client Reliance ADAG.
Announcing the news, Madhukar Kamath, MD & CEO of the Mudra Group said, “Mudra Connext has been created with the mandate to provide innovative business solutions through media to over 30 clients across India. All existing client relationships of OMS (Optimum Media Solutions) will now shift to Mudra Connext.” Mudra MAX now consists of three independent agency units – Connext, Radar, and Videotec.
Chandradeep Mitra, who is taking over as president of Mudra MAX, said, “In the era of convergence, we need cutting-edge capabilities to create consumer influence. Through proprietary processes & tools, Mudra MAX and its constituents are now poised to deliver this influence through insights, innovation and integration.”
Mudra Videotec, relaunched in October 2007, will continue to focus on the convergence of brands and entertainment, to provide content-based solutions to diverse clients. L S Krishnan, president of Mudra Radar, said, “I am confident that we at Mudra Radar would deliver the media value that Reliance ADA Group is expecting.”
