With the war for talent heating up, India’s third largest software exporter Wipro Ltd will showcase itself and try to attract people through the sketches of cartoonist Mario Miranda.
Mario will draw cartoons that would capture the moments and achievements of Wipro that would be used for campaigns particularly for recruiting talent and for employee communications, the company said in a statement here on Monday.
“Mario brings the anecdotes and stories to life in his classic, inimitable style and we are proud to share them with the world,” Wipro executive vice-president (Human Resources) Pratik Kumar said.
“When you have more than 75,000 people practically living, sharing and growing together, it is difficult to figure out where one story ends and another begins. An organisation is all about its people, who live the spirit that defines it,” Kumar said.
The campaigns would reflect culture, attitude, belief, emotions and life that are true to Wipro, a company official said.
“I love dealing with people and drawing them. It was a great opportunity to bring out the variety of people through this campaign - it was good fun,” Mario added.
