New Delhi, June 22:: Passengers of a London-bound Virgin Atlantic flight faced harrowing time in New Delhi after it was delayed by over 12 hours due to some "technical snag".

The New Delhi-London flight was scheduled for departure at 1300 pm on Saturday but it took off only on Sunday morning.

When asked, a Virgin spokesperson said the VS 301 flight was delayed due to technical snag.

"The flight was delayed due to technical snag. After all

proper checks, the flight left early morning on Sunday," she said.

The passengers were taken care of, the spokesperson said, but refused to comment on whether they were provided hotel accommodation.
