The ongoing agitation against the canel order of the land allotted to the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board in Jammu & Kashmir is lacking wisdom and principle. The protests are totally baseless and biased. While cancelling the land transfer order, the state government promised that it would provide logistics and other facilities to Amarnath pilgrims. Now, the Shri Amarnathji Yatra Sangarish Samiti (SAYSS) unnecessarily spearheads the agitation across the state. The SAYSS should respond positively to the state government’s offer to open a dialogue to solve the stalemate.
