Kundli-Palwal expressway to function from July 2009

The construction work for 135.6-km long Western Peripheral Expressway also known as the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) expressway is going on at full swing.
The Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) has transferred about 3,330 acres out of the total 3,354 acres of land to KMP expressway ltd. With about six camp offices in place and over 1,200 people working on the project, the company plans to commission it by July 2009."But we are hopeful that we will be able to complete the project before the due date. The total cost of the project is Rs 1,915 crore.
